Mohammed Kamara, originally from Voinjama, Lofa County, has worked for more
than 10 years on youth empowerment in emergency and development situations
including IRC, ARC, Premiere Urgence , Right to Play and IBIS. In 2011, he founded Peace Link Liberia, which strives to empower stakeholders to create a non-violent community by addressing tensions between members of different tribes and religions. Previously, Mohammed established a health club for youth in River Gee , Lofa , Grand Gedeh and Maryland counties where he held awareness campaigns on issues of teenage pregnancy, drugs and substance abuse, early marriage and HIV/AIDS. He disseminated information in schools, on market days and through the local radio stations, peer Awareness campaigns etc.
Mohammed also has worked with refugee communities since 2000. With IBIS as Program Assistant, for Support to Ivorian Refugees and Host Community (SIRHC) in Grand Gedeh and River Gee Counties, he managed an Emergency Education Programmes aimed at Supporting Ministry of Education to Coordinate Educational Activities during Emergency, Providing Practical and Vocational skills training for Refugees and Host Community youths to earn an income and spend their time in a meaningful manger and Life Skills Training for Young People.
Mohammed holds certificates in teaching and project design from the International Rescue Committee and in financial management and sustainability from Management Accountability for Non-Governmental Organizations (Mango UK), Managing for Development Result/Result Based Management by MDF- Netherland. He participated in the Civic Leadership Institute at the University of California, Berkeley.

Mamadee S. Kamara has over ten years of experience in Project management, community
